big toes little toes is a specialist organisation established to support happy healthy relationships between all kinds of parents and carers and their children from as early in family life as possible.  We offer Baby Massage and Music (Leics and Notts), Play Therapy (Leics, London, Notts and Hants), Therapeutic Play Parenting Coaching (Leics, London and Notts) and we also work as volunteers for big toes little toes african outreach.

We offer Baby Massage and Music groups for a range of ages from 28 weeks of pregnancy to 18 months.  Babies and young children really enjoy such positive, loving and relaxing touch and music.  Benefits include parents and carers feeling calmer and connected with their babies and young children.  Benefits for babies and children include deeper sleep, improved digestion, relief from constipation, stimulation of circulation, relief from teething pain and most of all lovely quality time with those that care for them.  These activities have been shown to support secure attachment relationships.  We also offer lovely baby massage Gift Packages for new parents.  Please click on the left-hand tab for information about classes in the Vale of Belvoir.

All profits from our Baby Massage and Music groups are lovingly poured into our big toes little toes african outreach humanitarian work.  We take our therapeutic massage, music and attachment skills to communities that ask for our help in Africa.  We also ship baby clothes starter packs containing baby basics to those who give birth with nothing for their newborns.  Our work began in the Obunga Slum, Kisumu in Kenya.  We work as volunteers with wonderful families in desperate circumstances where trauma often hampers secure attachments between parents and carers and their young children.  We also train health visitors, family workers and orphanage staff so that the work is sustainable long after we return to the UK.  No charges are made for this work. 

Finally, we are a highly qualified and experienced team and can offer Play Therapy and other therapeutic services where family life is under strain for a whole range of reasons and a specialist intervention is needed.  We are especially equipped to help parents and carers develop therapeutic parenting skills for themselves.  This service is completely confidential.
